    Course Description:

Internships are an excellent opportunity to test drive your choice of industry. Once you have your feet wet and time on the job, you may choose to pursue a full-time role. You are already in a good position if you have performed well in the role.

Resumes are in some cases the first and only opportunity for you to make the initial impression that will drive the next stages in the hiring process. It is critical that you understand some key fundamental issues for every resume no matter what the role. Keep in mind that most resumes will be reviewed by hiring managers or HR for only 9 seconds. You must make those seconds count. Let's talk about your situation and break down the key elements in your areas of interest. We can guide you through the process through a short series of exercises that will ensure that you have the best opportunity to be reviewed and called in for the interview.

At Job-Lander we coach students and career applicants on how to research and practice for an interview. This is a critical skill and we help by providing support, a different point of view, and professional feedback. This is a skill that you will always need to grow and we can help.
